Hi all, I've been reading the innumerable blogs, and some of them are downright hateful, about India, its people, George Bush's visit, and outsourcing. As someone who grew up in a modern and rich country and moved over to India for the past 10 years, believe me, I didn't have a great opinion about India either. But, you just can't help falling in love with this country and it's people how much ever you want to be standoffish and hateful. There's something about the rhythm of India that just gets past all those walls of despise against the government, against corruption, against the red tape and bureaucracy..and just reaches out to your very soul. You can't help but cheer on as India takes giant strides in its quest to stand among the developed nations. Anyone who's ever rooted for the underdog definitely understands what I'm saying. Against all odds of colonial laws of an era long gone, of mind numbing red-tapism, of unreliable power and water supply, of government indifference and deep-rooted corruption, the entrepreneurship spirit of India stands undefeated. Those who are from countries where access to health and fantastic education and government grants and aids are taken for granted could never understand the odds that Indians are up against..and yet today we have become a force to reckon with. An America that almost totally ignored us for the past 60 years has now knocked at our doors extending a hand of friendship. This is a tribute to the millions of nameless Indians whose sweat and blood have made our country what it is and who are taking our country to heights unimaginable. Jai Hind!!!
